About MoneyPlanCalc

Retirement math shouldn't be a black box.

Most retirement calculators online hand you a single confident number and hide everything behind it — what return they assumed, whether they accounted for inflation, what happens in a bad market. MoneyPlanCalc was built to do the opposite: show you the math, explain every assumption, and give you an honest range instead of false certainty.

I'm Yuna Podgaezki, the founder of MoneyPlanCalc. I'm not a financial advisor, and this site doesn't give personalized financial advice. My background is in data and analysis, and I built these tools because I was frustrated that the calculators out there hid their assumptions and made retirement feel either falsely reassuring or needlessly scary. The goal is simple: clear, transparent, honestly-built calculators that help you understand your own numbers — so you can make better decisions and have more informed conversations with a qualified professional.

Every calculator on this site shows its assumptions openly. You can read exactly how they work on our Methodology page. And because retirement is one of the most important financial decisions you'll make, we always encourage you to confirm your plan with a licensed financial professional before acting on it.
